Quote and Buy is based on Point Solution's toolset & XML technology. The system is capable of supporting a multitude of complex sales and administration processes. It provides data capture, validation of quote information, Premium Calculation (single and comparative), enterprise communication, automatic document production and online payment facility.
Using our range of toolsets a framework has been developed to form the foundation for the Quote and Buy service offering. This enables not only rapid development and deployment of new and existing transactions but also facilitates maintenance and enhancements. We develop, host and support the system to virtually eliminate any IT involvement from the insurer and broker and therefore any large upfront IT implementation costs.

- Quote and Buy is set up to handle the full insurance life cycle including: New business, online referrals, renewals, MTA's, Claims Notification, Document production and reprint, back office integration and reporting.

- The online transaction is developed once and reusable for a combination of channels: B2B and B2C.
- White labelling
- A multitude of presentation layers can be used for the same transaction. The look and feel of the online transaction will mirror completely the website from where the service is accessed providing a seamless experience for the user.

- The system uses a library of components which can be flexibly modified. The workflow itself can also be modified to constantly improve the transaction process.
- Tailored transaction
- Thanks to our powerful calculation engine as well as our modular approach some aspects of the transaction can be tailored per broker. Our calculation engine handles single, multiple as well as comparative quotes.
- Automated document production
- Our document production facility can populate the captured data into tailored pdf documents or for more complex requirements our Enterprise Printing Application (acuoPrint) can be used to create fully dynamic printed material. The application also allows document re-print.
- Enterprise Communication
- The system can handle data communication in various formats (structured text, PDF, CSV, XML) using several communication methods (emails, FTP, Webservices and others).
- Automated Payment to Broker and Insurer
- For the B2C channel Debit/Credit Card payment is available. But more importantly the payment is automatically split and transferred to broker and insurer's accounts for each transaction.
- Back office Integration
- Based on XML technology our system supports any XML standard messages. This means an easier data transfer capability.
- Security
- For the B2B channel login access functionality is available with a range of access restrictions attached to each ID from quote only to bind or full administration.
- Hosted Solution
